The Few as an online squadron were formed in a game called Fighter Ace in Early 2003. The main objective of the squad was to form a presence, for players flying in GMT time zones, to combat the masses of Japanese players running riot. The first four members were Bruv, Death(JJ), Fess and Dog (both layed up in Australia now).


Being outnumbered and surrounded half the time, we managed to group together other squadrons with the same GB interests to fend off the Imperial pilots. Many great battles were fought over a 2 year period and we made many friends and enemies. Also Stelux was the first Japanese player I had the pleasure to talk with on our ventrilo server, I don't believe any other squadrons bridged this culture gap.


In May 2005 I decided that it was time to move on from Fighter Ace. The player numbers and lack of development, due to ownership changes, forced me to look for something else. Aces High 2 provided a breath of fresh air and we have started again here. A great community and a great game, we soon got settled and began to recruit more members. The likes of Kazaa, Rumblebee, Mac, Sveno, Hammy and The Fury. All very skilled and great fun to fly with.
